Guidelines for Posters

The posters will be displayed in the Foyer of the Conference Center close to the lecture rooms.

Authors are requested to set-up their posters on Tuesday, 24 September 2002 between 8:00 and 11:00 and have to leave their posters in place until the end of the Conference.

A special poster session is scheduled every day of the Conference after lunch from 13:40 to 14:20.

Please fax or mail the Copyringt form (PDF and Microsoft Word) to Elena Gnani before 3 June 2002.

Poster Format and Guidelines

1. The dimensions of the poster boards are 100 cm wide x 200 cm high (portrait format).
2. There is no fixed format for the material; a single poster or a number of pages may be used.
3. Use only strong, sharply contrasting colors on a white or very light background
4. Ensure that you have a title with authors names and affiliations.
5. Keep the poster simple. Focus on the most important parts of your work. Emphasize what is new and how it compares with previous work.
6. Only self adhesive pads are allowed and will be provided on site.
7. Authors are responsible for removing posters left at the end of the conference. Any material left will be discarded.
